Lead Generation for Messenger

Lead Generation for Messenger

Calling all marketers! As we’ve said before, using Facebook is an essential part to getting exposure for your brand. With billions of users all over the world, your next potential customers could be anywhere.

How do I generate leads?

This is a question that many new businesses find themselves asking. Generating leads is one of the most important things you can do to help your business take off. Lead generation is the action or process of identifying and cultivating potential customers for a business’s products or services. Facebook serves as a perfect place to acquire leads due to the sheer number of people on the platform. As if it wasn’t easy enough before, Facebook Messenger has made it even easier for you. Introducing automated lead generation feature for Messenger. Though Facebook made this announcement in May, it’s finally being released to the public.

What is it?

The new feature allows businesses to create an automated question and answer experience within Messenger that launches via Facebook’s click-to-Messenger ads for Facebook News Feed. In order to interact in an automated chat, the user will have to click “send message” in a click-to-Messenger ad. Advertisers can set this feature up in a number of ways. They integrate the lead generation tool with a CRM platform, and also continue conversations with customers through the company’s Facebook Page Inbox, the Pages Manager app or a third-party live chat solution.

After answering a few automated questions, the user will then be transferred over to a live entity who can help them based on what they told the bot. People don’t like to wait, and they really don’t like feeling like companies rely solely on the use of bots. With this new feature, the bot is only used for a few questions, and then they are immediately transferred to a human. This creates an authenticity to your business, which causes customers to respond positively.

This matters to your brand because bots can respond to an inquiry in five seconds or less, making the lead generation process quicker, faster, and more efficient than ever before. It also leaves very little work for you to do on your own, something that can greatly benefit you while running a business.

If you own a business, consider installing lead generation for Messenger. This gives you the opportunity to quickly find potential customers, helping you make more money in the long run.
