Data-Driven Social Media Marketing

What is it?

If you don’t recognize this acronym right away, it’s time you discover what CRM can do for you. Customer relationship management is a technology for managing all your company’s relationships and interactions with customers and potential customers. If you believe that relationships are the most important aspect of business, CRM software is something you must have in order to make that happen. A CRM system helps keep companies connected with their customers, rake in higher profits, and streamline various processes to make for an easy experience for everyone involved.

In addition to keeping up with current customers, CRM software helps you find potential leads, too. The software manages your data and works through it to find possible customers due to its ability to store contact information such as phone numbers, email addresses, etc.

What software can I use for CRM?

While CRM software is good for everyone, it especially helps smaller business drive in direct traffic. This in turn helps those businesses grow to larger sizes, and of course, improve profits and sales for them. CRM software is capable of many things, which helps smaller businesses who might have fewer resources than their larger competitors. Regardless of size, companies of all sizes make use of CRM software. If you still aren’t convinced, read on.

We are human beings, and this means that we so often make mistakes. This is a fact of life that we are all too familiar with at this point. Of course, this is okay, as long as we learn from them, grow from them, and don’t repeat them again. CRM helps you in a big way here.

Let’s face it, sometimes we forget that the meeting started at 2:00 and ended up missing it completely because we thought it started at 3:00. Sometimes we forget to respond to an email from a customer inquiring about their order. Or, worse, we forget to follow back up with a customer to ensure their needs were met and they were satisfied. CRM software doesn’t let this happen to you. All of your details are kept in one area as well as your customer’s. When you keep everything together, it lessens the chances of losing customers, other salespeople, and in the end, money.

Now that we’ve gone over some of the details of what CRM actually is, it’s important to know what software is available to you, and which ones work best.

Mailchimp

“Mailchimp puts your audience at the center so you can send marketing emails and automated messages, create targeted ad campaigns, build landing pages, send postcards, facilitate reporting and analytics, and sell online.”

MailChimp is a web-based email marketing service. It helps you design email newsletters, share them on social networks, integrate with services you already use, and track your results. It’s AI-powered, meaning it uses artificial intelligence to help you get tasks done. If your business is small, this is a great platform to use as a starting off point. Of course, it continues to work hard for you no matter how big your company gets, but it’s one of the top CRM tools available.

No matter what software you decide to use, make sure it has the following capabilities:

1. Integrates with your social media channels.

2. Integrates with your email marketing software.

3. Has the option of automation and notifications.

4. Has the option to assign tasks to team members/users.

If it doesn’t have at least two of these four qualifications, it’s of no use to you. In addition, you want to make sure you can understand how to use it. Some services purposely complicate things to make it harder on you, but if it seems too difficult to use, it probably won’t be of any value to you or your business.

Despite the software you decide to use, the most important aspect is that you use something. If you want your business to grow and prosper, CRM software is essential. Let us know your thoughts about your favorite brand and how it’s helped you gain exposure.
