After seeing the ad, they can either buy directly from you, click on the ad and get directed to your site and increase your traffic, or land on a landing page with an offer. This double as a great way to capture leads.

If you aren’t implementing email marketing into your business, it’s high time you do. It takes little to no effort on your end, and all you have to do is send out some emails. One email packs a powerful punch even though it might not seem like it can, and it makes your digital marketing career all the more fruitful.

When you send out a welcome email, they typically have an opening rate of 82 percent. Small businesses rely on email marketing to get the word out about them in the beginning. While the emails following the welcome one usually have much lower opening rates, it’s important to keep them short, sweet, and entertaining. This is one way to try to increase the opening rates following the welcome email. Make sure they contain catchy subject headlines that will entice them to want to open them. Offer specials, promos, and deals that can only be found in your emails. This will make your customers look forward to receiving your emails.

Always remember to add in any sort of announcements or personalized or specials kinds of communication. People enjoy feeling like they’re apart of something that others aren’t, so when you include them in “secrets,” they’ll listen to you a little more closely.

Emails build a relationship between your brand and your audience. This is why you must be consistent in both the look and message of all emails sent. It’s a great way to reach your current prospects. It keeps your business at the forefront of their minds and allows them to connect with you if needed.

Content Creation

The most important part of running a business is creating content. Content can be anything from articles, news updates, blog posts, and even graphics and photography. The point is to never stop updating your site in order to ensure two things. One, you want those who visit your site to stay stimulated and interested in what you post. Two, you want to make sure search engines still recognize you as a working, active site. If search engines can’t find you, no one can. Always keep adding new content and keep updating the old.

Remember to think outside of the box and unlike the way your competitors do. When you do this, it turns your website from a boring one into a dynamic one.

Everything you do should revolve around creating engagement. You want customers and potential customers to like, comment, share, and tell their friends about your business. When you create engagement, you create a following. That following turns into customers who buy products and services from you, thus increasing your sales, and, hopefully, the number of people who purchase items from you.

If your business maintains a steady social media presence all year long, customers will recognize you. This means that, when they’re ready to purchase a product or service that you offer, you have a higher chance of being the first place they go to. Adding to this, when you engage with people on social media, it makes them feel more welcomed, more special, and overall better about choosing you as their business of choice. YouTube Advertising

Speaking of search engines, YouTube is the second largest search engine behind Google. Of course, YouTube is comprised of videos, but that doesn’t mean people don’t use it for finding information. This is why it’s one of the best platforms on which to advertise when it comes to digital marketing.

When you use YouTube, it gives you the opportunity to advertise to certain people by using keywords and key phrases. This is something that Facebook can’t do, meaning it’s someplace in which your advertising has an advantage. In addition, YouTube also allows you to focus your ads on specific channels or videos, meaning that no matter what, you’re showing your ads to your desired audience at all times. Much like Facebook, the audience on YouTube is waiting for you; you simply have to make the first move by advertising.

In other words, you serve your video ad to a person that is now searching something on that same product you sell.

The bottom line is that videos are the most effective way to advertise. Unlike Facebook, people using YouTube expect to spend time watching videos instead of looking at pictures of friends and family and seeing an unexpected ad. Basically, when someone makes time for you, your chances of piquing their interest are higher. On top of this, being able to use direct keywords and key phrases makes it easier to give people the exact ad that relates to what they’re watching on YouTube. 

Create Engagement

The point is to never stop attempting to build your audience. Digital marketing is one of the most efficient platforms on which to make that happen. The larger your audience is, the more opportunities you have to make more money. While building your audience, you can build trust between the two of you, meaning more money in your pocket.

No matter what kind of marketing you find works best for you, it’s essential to have an active online presence. Without one, people won’t be able to find, meaning they won’t be able to buy things from you. You must have an account on every social media platform in order to reach the largest audience possible, so even if you don’t consider yourself a social media guru, it’s time to get savvy. Make yourself available, and the people will come.
