Neil Patel: Author, Marketer and Entrepreneur

Are you in the market for some free advice on how to run a business from one of the top influencers from the Internet? Or how about some free advice from one of the top ten marketers as determined by Forbes? What about some free advice from someone who created one of the top 100 companies of all time according to Entrepreneur Magazine?

Newsflash: these aren’t three different people, despite the number of accolades listed. In fact, this is simply one person, and his name is Neil Patel. If this is your first time hearing about Mr. Patel, it’s time to learn all about him. His tactics just might be the change your business needs in order to bring in more success.

Neil Patel is a 34-year-old best-selling author, marketer, and entrepreneur. He built his first website when he was only 16 years old, and he did so out of necessity. Claiming he was broke, he knew he had to navigate the ever-so-lucrative world of marketing in order to make something of himself and his life, all while making money in the process. Obviously, his mission was deemed successful, as he is now one of the most influential people in the world. The About Me page on his site Quick Sprout says the following:

We’re here to help you grow your business online and get more traffic. We’ve put together our best tips on how to create a website, finding the best web hosting provider, and in-depth digital marketing guides.

Basically, Neil Patel has created a company that wants to help create other companies. But that’s not all he’s done. He also created NP Digital, “one of the few consultant companies that’s worth their fee.”

Neil Patel also created Ubersuggest, a website that allows you to enter in your domain name, and ultimately shows you how to “win the game of SEO.” It provides you with an overview of your domain, top SEO pages, keyword suggestions, content ideas, and even backlink data.

In other words, this man loves helping companies hit the ground running. It’s obvious that even though he values his own busy life, he wants to make time to help those who might need it.

To prove this, he has a section on his blog where you can ask him a question, and he guarantees a response from him. This is his promise:

So today is your day to ask me any questions you have, and I will do my best to answer it. You can ask me about entrepreneurship, marketing, or anything else. I’ve dealt with class-action lawsuits, an FTC investigation (which I passed), and I’ve lost out on acquisitions from Fortune 1000 companies because of stupidity on my part.

So, what can I answer for you?

Mr. Patel has the following four tips on his website to help you get started on marketing.

  1. Start a website or a blog.
  2. Check out Mr. Patel’s free SEO tool suite.
  3. Improve your overall knowledge by reading and keeping up with Mr. Patel’s blog.
  4. Subscribe to Marketing School, Mr. Patel’s online podcast.

If you do these four things, you are well on your way to becoming an expert in the expansive world of marketing.

Neil Patel has a seemingly never-ending list of step-by-step guides to help you through the process. These include guides in the following topics.

  1. Digital Marketing
  2. SEO
  3. Link Building
  4. Blogging
  5. Ecommerce
  6. Email Marketing
  7. Content Marketing
  8. Conversion Optimization
  9. Copywriting
  10. Social Media

Of course, the list doesn’t stop there. Neil Patel is one of the leading online experts, meaning he has information on a slew of topics. Even if you think your field is niche or not well known, Mr. Patel likely has it covered just for you.

The best part about his website is the fact that he loves interacting with everyday people just like you and me.

On top of teaching you all about marketing, Neil Patel has hundreds of articles reviewing certain social media tools, marketing tools, and more. This is a great way to get a feel for what does and does not work with your company, especially if you’re new to all of this.

A brief summarization of Neil Patel’s website makes it clear that you must create a website to achieve success. Without a website, your customers don’t have a portal with which to reach you. And, of course, if you don’t know the best way to go about creating a high quality website, Neil Patel has plenty of content to help you with that aspect.

Whatever questions you need answered, Neil Patel has you covered. Do yourself a favor and utilize the tools he has for you for free.
